Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments, utilizing evidence-based practices to develop personalized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each client.
  • Implementing therapeutic methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), guiding clients toward recovery with empathy and competence.
  • Maintaining accurate, timely, and confidential clinical records while ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards.
  • Collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary treatment team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to provide integrated care focused on improving patient outcomes.
  • Participating in regular case consultations and peer review sessions, enhancing the quality of your interventions and staying informed about the latest best practices in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with individuals navigating substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health issues. This role requires a strong focus on developing therapeutic alliances and providing individualized support that respects the complexities of each patient's experience.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position, you must possess the following:

  • A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • A valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.
  • A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in a relevant setting, demonstrating proficiency and skill in handling diverse mental health challenges.
  • Familiarity with solution-focused psychotherapy techniques and strong problem-solving skills to effectively address client needs.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
