As a Licensed Professional Counselor with Elmira Counseling Services, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Managing a caseload of clients and establishing rapport while maintaining professional ethics and boundaries.
• Conducting regular progress reviews with clients, discussing stability, upcoming appointments, and appropriate discharge procedures.
• Designing, implementing, and monitoring personalized treatment plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.
• Maintaining accurate documentation and progress notes for all clients in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Performing initial intake assessments to evaluate client needs and determine suitable interventions.
• Facilitating individual therapy sessions each week, utilizing evidence-based practices and therapeutic modalities.
• Engaging in individual supervision sessions for continued personal and professional development.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
• Embracing a growth mindset by continuously seeking opportunities for improvement and education.

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field.
• Current and unrestricted Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) status.
• A minimum of one year of post-graduate experience working in a clinical outpatient setting.
• Proficiency in using computer systems including Excel spreadsheets, RMS systems, and basic email platforms.
• Demonstrated experience in providing direct psychotherapy services to individuals and families.
• Comfortable and skilled at completing intake assessments.

While not required, the following experiences will enhance your application:

• A history of working within a multi-disciplinary team in an outpatient mental health setting.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Experience or training in specific therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

The salary for this remote Licensed Professional Counselor position ranges from USD 75,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition to competitive salary, Elmira Counseling Services offers:
