In this role, you will accurately process customer bills and insurance claims, assist with daily and month-end billing activities, answer questions, resolve billing issues, and help collect outstanding balances. You will work directly with patients, caregivers, medical providers, and insurance carriers.

What we're looking for:

  • Experience with claims adjudication and an understanding of how insurance works

  • Healthcare experience; pharmacy experience is helpful but not required

  • Collections experience or a willingness to make collection calls

  • Strong communication skills and a calm, professional approach

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

  • Comfort navigating multiple computer systems while assisting customers by phone

  • A dependable, team-oriented approach and commitment to excellent customer service

Schedule and work arrangement:

  • Tuesday-Saturday, 9:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.

  • This position will begin onsite and may become hybrid or fully remote based on demonstrated performance.

Education and Certifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • One or more years of related experience.

  • Advanced computer skills required. Experience with pharmacy information systems is preferred.

  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while meeting strict deadlines.

  • Quality-focused and motivated to identify errors and investigate inaccuracies.
