Work Environment

Our remote work setting allows for flexibility and convenience while maintaining a strong connection with your peers through virtual collaboration. The position requires a commitment to standard work hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with no evenings or weekends to ensure a balanced work-life dynamic. You'll engage with your colleagues through regular virtual meetings and training sessions, and benefit from a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of clients, establishing meaningful rapport and maintaining professional ethics while conducting therapy sessions.
• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to accurately diagnose and identify clients' needs and treatment goals.
• Develop, implement, and continuously monitor individualized treatment plans, ensuring they reflect each client's progress and changing circumstances.
• Document client interactions accurately and timely in our electronic health record (EHR) system, writing detailed progress notes and treatment updates.
• Facilitate weekly individual therapy sessions aimed at addressing specific issues relevant to each client’s mental health challenges.
• Participate in regular individual supervision sessions to discuss case progress, receive guidance, and enhance professional development.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, sharing insights and strategies to promote comprehensive care for clients.
• Embrace a growth mindset by engaging in ongoing education and training opportunities offered by the organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The licensed professional counselor will work with a diverse client population, including individuals coping with complex mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, substance abuse disorders, and more. Our focus is on providing empathetic and effective therapy tailored to empower clients in managing their mental health. The counselor will be essential in creating a safe space for clients to express themselves and explore their challenges.

Qualifications

• A master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.
• A current, unrestricted Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license in Connecticut is mandatory.
• Minimum of one year of clinical experience in an outpatient setting post-graduation is essential to effectively support our clients.
• Exceptional critical thinking abilities, strong communication skills, and active listening techniques are vital to succeed in this role.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with diverse populations and various mental health issues will enhance the effectiveness of your therapeutic interventions.
• Knowledge of integrated care models and familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems will be beneficial.
• Previous involvement with multidisciplinary teams or community health initiatives is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a rewarding compensation package, Vibra provides a fee-for-service model with guaranteed rates that pay ahead of collections, ensuring financial stability for counselors.
