Temporary 3 to 6 Months
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Medical Billing and Coding Specialist to join our team in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will accurately assign medical codes, process insurance claims, and ensure timely reimbursement while maintaining compliance with all federal, state, and payer regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Review patient medical records and assign accurate ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes.
  • Prepare, submit, and follow up on insurance claims for timely reimbursement.
  • Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits.
  • Resolve billing discrepancies, denied claims, and payment issues.
  • Maintain accurate patient billing records and documentation.
  • Communicate professionally with patients, insurance companies, and healthcare providers regarding billing inquiries.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and coding guidelines.
  • Meet productivity and quality standards while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Assist with additional billing and administrative duties as assigned.
