• Conduct assessments and develop tailored treatment plans for a diverse clientele, utilizing evidence-based interventions that align with our clinic's holistic approach.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, ensuring a safe space for open dialogue and personal growth, while incorporating feedback into care strategies.
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment progress, and compliance with JCAHO, Medicaid, and DBH standards, ensuring the highest level of accountability and transparency.
• Establish and nurture relationships with community resources, including both inpatient facilities and outpatient programs, enhancing referral networks for better patient intake and support.
• Lead educational initiatives focused on perinatal mental health, providing psychoeducation to clients and their families about relevant issues and available support systems.
• Participate actively in case conferences and team meetings, exchanging insights, strategies, and updates on client care to promote integrated treatment approaches.
• Assist in the planning and promotion of clinic activities aimed at meeting the specific emotional and psychological needs of clients.
• Respond promptly to emerging mental health crises within your caseload, providing immediate counseling and intervention as appropriate.
• Engage with multidisciplinary team members to coordinate comprehensive care for patients, playing a pivotal role in case management and collaborative treatment efforts.
• Support consumers with social service referrals and community resources to address broader psychosocial needs.

Your work with Clear Beginning Healthcare Services will primarily focus on clients experiencing perinatal mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and adjustment disorders related to pregnancy and parenthood. Additionally, you will serve a broad spectrum of clients from diverse backgrounds, each requiring personalized care strategies tailored to their unique circumstances.

• A Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field is required.
• Must hold an active and valid license as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) as per state regulations.
• Strong adherence to ethical standards, maintaining confidentiality and compliance with the United States Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association's Code of Ethics.
• Proficient in utilizing digital platforms for documentation and telehealth services.
• Ability to effectively communicate with clients, their families, and team members, fostering a collaborative atmosphere for treatment.
• A commitment to ongoing professional development and participation in training to stay abreast of the latest mental health care trends and methodologies.
• Must have no history of Medical Malpractice Claims, verified through a third-party background check.

• Previous experience in a community health or outpatient mental health setting is highly desirable.
• Experience working with diverse populations, particularly in perinatal mental health, is a plus.
• Familiarity with Medicaid and private insurance processes preferred.
• Background in leading group therapy or psychoeducational workshops would be beneficial.
