• Conduct detailed assessments of clients' mental and emotional health, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their therapeutic needs.
• Utilize evidence-based techniques during therapy sessions, including Engagement, Assessment, Planning, Implementation, and Evaluation, to formulate effective treatment plans.
• Provide individual therapy addressing a wide array of mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and self-esteem issues, while fostering a safe and trusting environment.
• Facilitate couples therapy sessions to help partners enhance communication skills, resolve conflicts, and strengthen their relationships.
• Regularly review and modify treatment plans to align with clients' evolving goals and progress.
• Maintain meticulous records of client interactions, including progress notes and treatment adjustments, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical guidelines.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, engaging with physicians, psychiatrists, and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care.
• Be available to support clients experiencing crises, providing immediate intervention and resources as needed.
• Stay informed on the latest developments in the field of marriage and family therapy through continuous education and participation in professional development opportunities.
• Practice self-care and encourage clients to adopt wellness strategies to promote mental health and resilience.
• Ensure each virtual therapy setting is secure and confidential, respecting client privacy at all times.

In your role, you will support a diverse clientele consisting of individuals, couples, and families, spanning various ages and backgrounds. Our target population includes teenagers navigating adolescence, adults facing complex life challenges, and couples seeking to improve their relational dynamics. By employing effective therapeutic strategies, you will directly contribute to enhancing clients' quality of life and emotional well-being.

• A Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a closely related field is required.
• An active state licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist is a must.
• Demonstrated experience providing individual and/or couples therapy in various settings.
• Strong skills in completing assessments, progress notes, and treatment plans in a timely manner.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in electronic health record systems.

• Experience working with children, adolescents, and families is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote therapy methodologies.
• A background in crisis intervention techniques.
