Key Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain therapeutic relationships with clients, fostering trust and openness.
• Conduct thorough assessments to diagnose mental health disorders and develop tailored treatment plans that address each client's individual needs.
• Facilitate individual and couples therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and trauma-informed care.
• Monitor patient progress through regular follow-up sessions, adjusting treatment plans as needed to reflect evolving circumstances and challenges.
• Implement ongoing assessments to track improvements in mental health and adjust therapeutic approaches appropriately.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and specialists, offering referrals when additional support or services are required.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with diverse populations, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma. Qualifications

• A valid and active license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Nevada.
• A minimum of a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
• Strong foundational understanding of mental health disorders, therapeutic techniques, and treatment methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and team members.
• Demonstrated ability to motivate and inspire clients towards positive change.

Preferred Experience

• Experience or specialized training in addiction counseling and knowledge of co-occurring disorders.

• Previous experience working in outpatient settings or similar environments focused on mental health therapy.
