• Conduct thorough intake assessments to evaluate client needs and develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each student.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to support the emotional and mental well-being of students.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and records to comply with legal and ethical standards while ensuring client confidentiality.
• Collaborate with educators, school administrators, and interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic care that addresses educational and emotional challenges.

• Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in mental health to continuously improve service delivery.

Your primary focus will be on students facing various mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, trauma, and depression. Working closely with children and adolescents, you will provide empathetic support and interventions aimed at improving their academic performance and overall well-being. The diversity of our student population calls for culturally competent and individualized care approaches to ensure all clients feel heard and supported.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid LCSW license in the state of New York.
• At least 2 years of clinical experience in mental health, preferably in a school or community setting.
• Strong proficiency in implementing solution-focused psychotherapy and other evidence-based practices.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with students, families, and educational staff.

• Experience working with children and adolescents in a school environment.
• Knowledge of crisis intervention strategies and trauma-informed care.
• Ability to engage in conflict resolution and mediation within a diverse school community.
