Civil Litigation Associate Attorney

Las Vegas, Nevada | Hybrid or Remote Opportunities

An established civil litigation practice is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its Las Vegas office. The position is designed for an attorney with approximately 2โ€“5 years of civil litigation experience who is prepared to take direct responsibility for case handling while working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

The attorney will participate in matters throughout the litigation process, including hearings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediations, pre-trial preparation, and trials. The position also includes direct client communication and responsibility for providing case updates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Appear in court and handle hearings.
  • Manage written discovery and related case responsibilities.
  • Take and defend depositions.
  • Research and prepare motions.
  • Participate in mediations.
  • Assist with and manage pre-trial preparation.
  • Prepare for and participate in trials.
  • Provide clients with timely case updates.

Qualifications

  • Nevada Bar admission required.
  • Approximately 2โ€“5 years of civil litigation experience preferred.
  • California Bar admission is a plus.
  • Ability to handle hearings, discovery, and motion practice.
  • Interest in working within a collaborative litigation team.

Compensation

  • Base salary of $100,000โ€“$175,000, depending on experience.
  • Bonus program based on annual billing metrics.
