• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students’ psychosocial needs, incorporating feedback from teachers and caregivers to create well-rounded care strategies.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with students, families, school staff, and other relevant stakeholders, ensuring alignment with educational goals.
• Provide counseling sessions, focusing on emotional support and problem-solving for students dealing with academic pressures, family dynamics, and other life transitions.
• Proactively advocate for students’ needs by connecting them and their families to appropriate community resources, ensuring access to support systems.
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to facilitate effective communication among healthcare professionals, addressing the needs of students holistically.
• Conduct regular check-ins via phone or video conferencing to monitor clients’ progress, adjusting care plans as necessary to respond to changing circumstances.
• Educate students and families on available support networks, programs, and interventions that can promote resilience and enhance their overall quality of life.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of client interactions, assessments, treatment plans, and progress to comply with licensing regulations and enhance care quality.
• Stay updated on best practices, advocacy efforts, and policies relating to school social work and mental health services to ensure ethical service delivery.

The primary focus of this role is to support students within school systems who may be facing various emotional and social challenges, including but not limited to stress, anxiety, family issues, and academic concerns. • Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, meeting the licensure requirements in Colorado.
• Current state licensure as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW).
