Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for engineering, designing, and specifying HVAC, plumbing, and utility systems in a design-build setting with highly variable projects.
Responsibilities:
  • Engineer and design HVAC, plumbing, and utility systems for various projects, ensuring compliance with local building codes and industry standards.
  • Prepare detailed engineering calculations, specifications, drawings and other construction documents for the installation of mechanical systems.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects and other engineering disciplines to develop project designs and optimize system performance.
  • Conduct detailed site surveys to assess existing conditions and identify potential challenges related to mechanical system installations.
  • Review and approve shop drawings and submittals for mechanical systems to ensure adherence to design specifications and project requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to project teams during estimating, construction, installation, start-up and commissioning phases.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to select appropriate equipment and materials for projects, considering cost, quality, and compatibility.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements, incorporating new technologies and best practices into mechanical system designs.
