In your role as an LCSW, you will oversee an extensive array of responsibilities that directly affect patient outcomes:

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices and tailored interventions.
• Utilize various therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to address the unique mental health needs of your clients.
• Maintain precise clinical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations while ensuring timely updates and accurate documentation.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary treatment team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to promote a holistic approach to patient care.
• Engage in ongoing case consultations and peer review meetings to share insights and enhance therapeutic practices.
• Provide compassionate education and support to patients and their families concerning mental health issues, treatment options, and available community resources.
• Stay informed of current trends and developments within the mental health field to continually improve treatment methods and patient engagement strategies.

You will primarily work with individuals at our detox center facing diverse mental health and substance use challenges. The patient population includes adolescents and adults from various backgrounds, each with unique life experiences and psychological conditions. Your role will be vital in guiding them through their recovery journey, providing critical support and therapeutic interventions tailored to their individual needs.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, ensuring your knowledge is current and comprehensive.
• A valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in Colorado, confirming your expertise and commitment to professional standards.
• A minimum of three years of experience in a clinical setting, especially in psychotherapy, equipping you with the necessary skills to handle complex cases.
• Proficiency in solution-focused therapeutic techniques that foster positive change in clients.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities that facilitate building rapport with clients and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, aiding in effective decision-making and case management.

While the minimum requirement is three years, candidates with additional experience in specialized areas such as trauma-focused therapy, addiction counseling, or group therapy will be viewed favorably. Experience using electronic health record (EHR) systems will also be beneficial.
