Building Location:Building F - Duluth Clinic - 3rd StreetDepartment:2901820 AUDIOLOGY - EH DCJob Description:Provides a comprehensive array of professional services related to the identification, assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of persons with auditory and balance disorders and the disabilities associated with them. Audiologists utilize evaluation, assessment, patient education and counseling tools to identify and provide non-medical management of disorders of the auditory, balance, and neural system. Audiologists work independently and in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.Education Qualifications:

AuD or PhD in Audiology or an Audiologist practicing with a masters degree in audiology before August 2007.

Licensure/CertificationQualifications:
AUDIOLOGIST

PRACTICE SPECIFICS

  • Provide a comprehensive array of diagnostic audiology tests and rehabilitative services to patients of all ages
  • Diagnostic testing: audiological, vestibular, and implant assessments, immittance, otoacoustic emissions, evoked potentials
  • Rehabilitative services: implant programming, hearing instrument recommendations, selection and fittings, aural rehab and treatment for Benign Paroxysmal Positioning Vertigo
  • Majority of position is direct care to outpatients and inpatients
  • CASUSAL HOURS
REQUIREMENTS
  • AuD or PhD in Audiology or an Audiologist practicing with a Master's degree in Audiology before August 2007
  • Eligible for licensure as an Audiologist in Wisconsin and Minnesota

  • 150 miles north of Minneapolis, MN
  • Located on the westernmost tip of Great Lake Superior
