• Conduct thorough assessments to identify social, emotional, and environmental factors affecting clients’ well-being.
• Develop tailored service plans that outline specific goals and interventions, along with methods for tracking progress over time.
• Offer individual and family counseling sessions, employing a trauma-informed approach to foster healing and resilience.
• Collaborate closely with clients to create personalized service plans and ensure access to relevant community resources, such as housing assistance and mental health services.
• Provide timely crisis intervention and risk assessments, including safety planning for clients facing immediate threats or challenges.
• Coordinate with various community agencies and organizations to enhance service delivery and advocate for client needs effectively.
• Engage in community outreach activities to raise awareness of available services and to promote agency programs.
• Participate actively in case conferences, staff meetings, and training sessions to stay informed of best practices and enhance professional skills.

You will primarily work with diverse populations facing significant social challenges, such as homelessness, domestic violence, substance abuse, and poverty. Your role will be pivotal in helping these individuals navigate their circumstances and facilitate access to resources and support systems that improve their overall quality of life.

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Active state licensure as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in Nevada.
• Demonstrated expertise in social services and a thorough understanding of case management practices.
• Excellent communication skills, cultural competence, and the ability to engage diverse populations effectively.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to client advocacy.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a social work or community service agency setting is strongly preferred.
• Experience with trauma-informed care, social justice initiatives, and interdisciplinary collaboration is highly valued.
• Familiarity with community resources available in the Henderson, NV area will enhance your effectiveness in this role.
