GovSG is seeking a SAP ABAP Lead to owns design and delivery of moderately complex RICE objects end-to-end, translating functional requirements into robust technical solutions, ensuring performance, reliability, and supportability.
This position is remote but based out of Washington D.C..
Position Duties:
- Produce technical designs from functional specs: data models, error handling, logging, and restart/reprocessing mechanisms.
- Build interfaces (inbound/outbound) with strong validation and reconciliation; coordinate with middleware and integration teams.
- Develop enhancements (user exits/BAdIs (Business Add-Ins), enhancements spots) and reports with authorization checks and scalable performance.
- Support conversions and mass loads, including data transformations, balancing, and audit-ready reconciliation outputs.
- Lead code reviews, enforce standards, and improve reusable components.
- Own troubleshooting through hypercare: root-cause analysis, hotfixes, and stabilization.

Position Required
- DoD Secret Clearance
- Bachelor's Degree
- Demonstrated experience working with SAP Navy ERP systems
- Experience providing Tier 3 or advanced functional/technical support
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to train diverse user groups
- Understanding of Navy workflows, financial processes, or supply operations
Salary: $192,000- $245,000. Actual compensation offered to candidate will vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
