Marina Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team in a fully remote capacity. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to evaluate their mental and emotional health, identifying key issues and concerns.
  • Develop tailored treatment plans that address each client's unique needs and goals, utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities.
  • Deliver individual therapy sessions to clients of all ages, tackling various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational issues.
  • Facilitate couples therapy sessions aimed at enhancing communication, resolving conflicts, and fostering deeper connections between partners.
  • Maintain accurate and meticulous client records, including assessments, progress notes, and updates on treatment plans, ensuring compliance with all ethical standards.
  • Engage collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to enhance the holistic care experience for clients, sharing insights and strategies to optimize treatment outcomes.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support to clients in acute distress, utilizing swift assessment and treatment protocols to ensure their safety and well-being.
  • Stay informed on the latest research and best practices in marriage and family therapy, committing to ongoing professional development and training.
Patient Population / Client Focus

At Marina Medical Center, you will engage with a wide-ranging client demographic, including teenagers, adults, and couples. You will assist clients facing various challenges, from personal struggles and trauma to relationship dynamics and family conflicts. Qualifications
  • A Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field is required.
  • An active license as a Marriage and Family Therapist through the appropriate State Board is mandatory.
  • Proven experience in providing therapy to individuals and/or couples, demonstrating a depth of understanding of diverse mental health issues.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to navigate electronic health record systems proficiently.
Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to USD 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, we offer a competitive benefits package, including:
