The Marina Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to engage with clients through our community health clinic. Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a key clinician, interacting directly with clients who are facing symptoms of major mental illness and emotional disorders, both via telehealth and community outreach.
• Establish trusting relationships with clients and effectively collaborate with fellow team members to achieve shared objectives and improve operational efficiency.
• Conduct thorough behavioral assessments and create integrated care plans designed to address and meet clients’ unique needs.
• Participate in crisis intervention efforts as necessary, offering support and guidance during critical situations.
• Monitor treatment progression and outcomes by managing a caseload, which includes individual therapy, group sessions, and family therapy.
• Ensure client safety by proactively identifying and mitigating potential risks, maintaining a secure environment at all times.
• Document assessment findings, treatment plans, and client interactions promptly and accurately, ensuring compliance with ethical standards.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and training to enhance skills and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work closely with clients from diverse backgrounds, including individuals from low-income households, marginalized communities, and persons dealing with significant mental health challenges. A strong commitment to serving underprivileged populations and an understanding of the socio-economic factors affecting mental health are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• A valid and active Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) designation in Texas.
• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related field.
• At least two years of clinical experience in mental health settings, providing therapy and support to individuals with varying degrees of mental health issues.
• Comprehensive understanding of clinical best practices, substance abuse treatments, and crisis intervention strategies.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working within community health environments, particularly in settings dedicated to assisting underserved populations.
• Familiarity with telehealth methodologies and digital tools used for conducting virtual therapy sessions.
• Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems to maintain accurate patient documentation.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this full-time position ranges from $70,000 to $85,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
