You will collaborate with a supportive and interdisciplinary team, interacting with colleagues from diverse fields, including medical providers, social workers, and mental health professionals.

• Engage with prenatal care teams, including physicians, midwives, and lactation consultants, to provide comprehensive integrated care.
• Co-facilitate educational sessions on childbirth and postpartum care, working alongside birth workers to ensure robust community support.
• Participate in community outreach initiatives focused on enhancing the mental wellness of birthing individuals and their families.
• Contribute to clinical consultation sessions and multidisciplinary learning opportunities, fostering collaborative professional growth.
• Complete all necessary clinical documentation in a timely manner, adhering to organizational guidelines and state regulations.

The primary client population includes families and individuals navigating the mental health challenges that can arise during pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum periods. This role emphasizes a trauma-informed approach, understanding the unique experiences and needs of diverse family structures to promote effective care and recovery. Your work will significantly impact patient outcomes by providing necessary support, education, and therapeutic interventions.

• A Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.
• Current and active licensing as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in California.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with a diverse range of clients, families, and colleagues.
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously while seeking guidance as needed to ensure high standards of care.

• Experience in telehealth or remote counseling platforms preferred, with familiarity in utilizing technology for client engagement.
• Prior involvement in prenatal or postpartum mental health initiatives is highly desirable.
• Background in community engagement, promoting mental health awareness, and leading support groups is beneficial.

• Annual salary ranging from USD 120,000 to 130,000, commensurate with experience and caseload.
