• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments that consider the interplay between psychiatric and medical conditions affecting patients' mental health.
• Develop, implement, and adapt holistic treatment plans that integrate both mental health therapy and necessary medical interventions for optimal patient outcomes.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based therapeutic practices that resonate with each patient's unique situations.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, psychiatrists, and other health care professionals to provide synchronized care, ensuring that therapeutic approaches align with medical advice.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention for patients in distress and devise strategies that help manage mental health emergencies.
• Educate patients regarding the connections between their mental well-being and physical health to empower them toward self-management and recovery.
• Maintain meticulous, confidential documentation of patient interactions and treatment plans in compliance with industry regulations and ethical standards.
• Engage in regular team meetings and interdisciplinary case conferences to contribute insights and ensure continuity of care.
• Continuously update knowledge of best practices in integrated care, participating in ongoing professional development.

Our mental health therapists primarily serve individuals facing complex mental health issues compounded by co-occurring medical conditions, such as autoimmune disorders and chronic pain. We prioritize a person-centered approach, recognizing the unique challenges that our diverse patient population encounters. As such, we seek candidates who possess empathy, cultural competence, and a commitment to improving patients’ overall quality of life.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of California.
• Demonstrated experience in providing mental health care for patients with co-occurring medical conditions.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, vital for fostering trust and rapport with patients and collaborating effectively with team members.
• Ability to uphold professional boundaries while adhering to ethical guidelines and ensuring patient confidentiality.
• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and dedicated to maintaining well-organized documentation.

Experience working in an integrated care environment is highly desirable, as individual therapy may often intersect with medical treatments. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote therapy best practices is a plus.

The salary range for this position is USD 120,000 to 140,000 annually, reflecting our commitment to valuing skilled professionals. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
