Summary:

Huntington Bank is looking for a Developer within our test automation, and Data space to lead initiatives, provide automation solutions for applications encompassing both test and task, driving projects to delivery with automation and assisting in automation of both data & environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Analyzes, designs, and develops systems based upon user specifications. 
  • Provides technical assistance in solving hardware or software problems. 
  • Possesses an in-depth knowledge of and works with the technical tools available for systems development and support.
  • Maintains and demonstrates knowledge of technical industry trends, particularly as they apply to Huntington. 
  • May assist with identifying training needs or with training of less experienced staff. 
  • May serve as project leader for specific projects.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as an architect driving/leading integration architecture, design, and development.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of API management, RESTful and SOAP web services.
  • Experience with Secure Access protocols: OAuth, SAML, OIDC
  • Experience with cloud integration platforms (e.g., GCP, AWS).
  • Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, GCP/AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus.
  • Knowledge of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL) and data modeling.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with event driven architecture and event sourcing.  Worked with messaging frameworks such as Kafka.
  • Efficient in programming languages commonly used for microservices Java EE, Java generics and concurrent programming. Microservices framework spring boot.
  • Experience with GCP infrastructure
  • Hands on experience with GCP Products like Cloud Run , Terraform , Big Data , Big Query
