Job description

**We support 100% remote, in-office, or hybrid work styles for anyone legally eligible to work in the U.S.

A day in the life:

You'll own a portfolio of 4-6 CPG accounts, primarily beauty, personal care, wellness, or food and beverage brands. This role centers on a comprehensive diagnosis of core business constraints impacting client growth, leveraging a deep understanding of the competitive landscape to identify and formulate strategic solutions. This includes pinpointing challenges across all points of sale - DTC/ecommerce acquisition, retail execution, Amazon market share erosion, or upstream strategic barriers like brand positioning - and developing a unified, data-backed strategy to overcome them.

CPG accounts tend to have opinions about their channels that predate the data. Part of this job is having the product, competitive, and retail fluency to challenge those assumptions with credibility.

Responsibilities:

  • Employ AI technologies to enhance and optimize business processes
  • Utilize and leverage Power Digital's Nova ecosystem as it relates to your department
  • Run quarterly Power Circuit reviews - diagnose growth constraints across Business, Audience, Product, Messaging, Channels, and Measurement, with particular attention to how the client's retail and DTC performance interact
  • Own the senior client relationship
  • QBRs should drive decisions, not report history
  • Consult on channel mix across DTC, Amazon, and retail - understand how they cannibalize or reinforce each other and make a recommendation
  • Coordinate paid, SEO, content, influencer, and creative teams around a single account strategy
  • Manage retention and expansion; lead renewals; grow MRR in your portfolio
  • Build multi-threaded relationships with multiple layers of client contacts so no single point of contact departure puts an account at risk
  • Ensure daily use of our proprietary technology (Iris and nova), Pulse (client performance and sentiment tool) cadence at 100%, and Power Circuit (our proprietary diagnostic system) compliance across managed ADs
  • Manage and develop 1-2 direct reports - run regular 1:1s, build development plans, and own their performance reviews
  • Coach analysts and specialists; give specific, timely feedback

Role Requirements:

  • 6+ years in CPG marketing, ideally with both DTC and retail brand experience
  • Understands how Amazon fits into a CPG growth strategy - share of search, ASIN architecture, buy box, sponsored vs. organic balance
  • Familiar with the retailer relationship layer: how Target, Ulta, Sephora, Whole Foods, or similar partners shape media investment decisions
  • Has an opinion on CPG measurement - MMM, incrementality testing, in-store vs. digital attribution
  • Fluent in upper-funnel channel strategy - content, SEO, YouTube, programmatic
  • Comfortable with creative-heavy accounts where briefs, asset velocity, and influencer strategy are as important as media optimization
  • Track record of retaining and growing accounts
  • Has managed senior clients who have strong brand opinions and needs to be met with confidence

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Expansion to Churn Ratio (ETCR)
  • Net MRR across portfolio
  • Client NPS (8+ avg)
  • Monthly Service Expansion pipeline generation
  • Power Circuit Certification (annual)

Most Important Things (MITs)

  • Team Coaching and Development
  • Marketing Strategy, Development and Execution
  • Client Retention and Client Revenue Growth

Benefits & Perks:

  • Base salary + commission opportunities
  • Robust Medical, Dental, Vision insurance plans with up to 100% employer contribution towards employee monthly premium
  • 401(k) plan - 4% employer contribution matching
  • Unlimited Time Off available on day one
  • Up to 4 hours per quarter for paid Volunteer Time Off (VTO) towards philanthropic endeavors
  • Fully flex work environment: full-remote, in-office, or hybrid
  • A one time $100 USD Work From Home (WFH) stipend automatically added to your first paycheck
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
  • 12 observed United States national holidays + 2 mental health recharge days per year
  • Unlimited opportunities for growth & leadership within a rapidly growing firm
  • Ongoing employee development programs for personal and professional growth (Hedgehog and Vital 5s)
  • Quarterly awards including prize money and recognition for outstanding performance
  • Opportunities to be involved in company DEI initiatives
