Job Description
We are seeking a Global Dayforce Payroll SME to lead the design, configuration, and implementation of Dayforce Payroll solutions across a complex global environment. This role will serve as the subject matter expert for multi-country payroll processes, with critical expertise in China, Malaysia, and Ireland payroll regulations, compliance requirements, and statutory reporting. The ideal candidate will bring deep hands-on Dayforce implementation experience, strong payroll-to-finance integration knowledge, and a proven ability to partner with HR, Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to deliver successful global payroll transformations.
Required Skills - Dayforce Implementation, China, Malaysia, and Ireland payroll experience
Job Duties - Global Dayforce SME (needs to have experience with China, Malaysia, Ireland payroll processes) This will be the key roll to fill and hardest to find.
Responsibilities: Global Payroll Expertise Act as the expert for global payroll processes within Dayforce, with emphasis on China, Malaysia, and Ireland Provide guidance on local tax regulations, statutory requirements, and compliance standards Ensure payroll solutions align with country-specific labor laws and reporting requirements Dayforce Implementation Lead end-to-end payroll implementation including requirements gathering, configuration, testing, and deployment Partner with system integrators and internal teams to drive project deliverables Ensure configurations follow Dayforce best practices and enterprise standards Configuration & System Design Configure payroll components including earnings, deductions, tax rules, and payroll calendars Support payroll-to-GL integration and ensure alignment with financial reporting requirements Validate system setup across multiple regions and payroll structures Testing & Deployment Oversee payroll testing cycles (Unit, SIT, UAT, Parallel runs) Validate payroll calculations, data migrations, and reconciliations Support go-live and hypercare activities to ensure a successful rollout Stakeholder Engagement Collaborate with HR, Finance, IT, and global payroll teams Serve as a key advisor to leadership on payroll processes and system capabilities Lead workshops, design sessions, and status updates Compliance & Risk Identify and mitigate payroll risks and compliance gaps Ensure adherence to SOX controls and internal governance standards Support issue resolution and escalation management
Job Requirements -
Qualifications: 7-10+ years of payroll experience, including global/multi-country payroll Hands-on experience with Dayforce HCM Payroll Proven background supporting enterprise-level Dayforce implementations (end-to-end) Strong knowledge of payroll regulations in China and/or Malaysia (Ireland a plus) Experience with payroll integrations, GL mapping, and financial reconciliation Experience working in large, complex enterprise environments
