Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments utilizing telehealth tools to evaluate clients’ mental health status and substance use histories, ensuring individualized treatment plans that adhere to evidence-based practices.
• Deliver tailored therapeutic interventions including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and motivational interviewing, adapting each modality to fit the virtual environment.
• Maintain meticulous and timely clinical documentation using secure electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring compliance with state regulations and best practices in patient confidentiality.
• Engage in collaborative treatment planning with a multidisciplinary team comprising psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals, participating in regular virtual consultations to optimize patient care.
• Educate clients and their families on mental health issues, recovery strategies, and available community resources, utilizing digital tools to enhance their understanding and engagement.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on clients dealing with substance use disorders, including those undergoing detox and recovery. Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Kansas is mandatory.
• At least 2 years of clinical experience in providing psychotherapy services, preferably with a focus on substance use disorders or related mental health issues.
• Expertise in utilizing solution-focused therapeutic techniques that are adaptable to both individual and group teletherapy settings.
