Description
Overview
The positions primary function is to schedule Retail art jobs to both internal Artists, as well as Sourcing Art Companies. The Art Resource Planner will run and monitor reports both internal and received from factories and RFNP requests; receive, send and create spreadsheets to make sure that orders are started on time and that all art is completed in a timely manner. They will also work to ensure on time completion of all orders to meet provided deadlines. The Retail Art Resource Planner will monitor any order changes and expedite orders as needed to meet changing deadlines. They will meet with Retail Art Team to discuss retail plans, workflows, issues, etc. They will also react to art changes for completed and not completed artwork to ensure accurate requests are fulfilled.
The Art Resource Planner will be responsible for bulk types being printed at ProAd for GDC order volume, as well as Offshore and Turn Key production facilities. The Art Resource Planner will also support and help with overflow work of other Art Resource Planners as needed for large work bubbles, vacations, and rush needs.
The Resource Art Planner is also responsible for making sure consistent standards for color, decoration location and application are kept throughout the art creation process by maintaining reference materials. #LI-Remote

Essential Duties
  • Monitor orders entered by the Retail Services Team and working with order entry for needed corrections.
  • Use spreadsheets to start on art before the designs are entered. Pre-Building of designs prior to entry is needed with the tight deadlines from the customers and the factory.
  • Uses the Art-To-Do Report (KERP) to schedule arts to the internal and external artists.
  • Updates and reviews the KA Workflow tracker.
  • Assigns to the artists (internally or externally) based on the priority level from the factory and/or Sourcing Department.
  • Helps prioritize orders/arts in proofing as well with the internal or external artists.
  • Monitors the department's capacity to insure art completion, on time printing, planning and delivery through Art Production and Art/Licensing Approval stages.
  • Provides input for daily, weekly and monthly art production goals. Assist Lead and Manager by providing accurate reporting numbers. Takes this knowledge and implements it in the best possible way to meet or exceed the Art Production Departments' goals.
  • Schedules completion of all quick turn RFNP requests
  • Point of contact for factory tear down issues.
  • Assists Art Support Lead and other Art Resource Planners as needed.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Related experience in scheduling or planning required
  • Intermediate skills of the Macintosh computer
  • Strong knowledge of Excel program for creating, organizing and managing spreadsheets
  • Understanding and knowledge of art department workflow a plus.
