Job Title: Mainframe Developer

Locations: Omaha, NE

Job Responsibilities Include:

  • Collaborating with business analysts and project managers to gather requirements and design technical solutions
  • Creating and executing test plans to ensure application functionality and quality
  • Participating in code reviews and providing feedback to other developers to ensure code quality and adherence to standards
  • Troubleshooting and resolving application issues in a timely and efficient manner
  • Keeping up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to suggest process improvements or new solutions.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of writing, testing, and debugging COBOL programs using established coding standards and best practices
  • 5+ years of developing and maintaining JCL scripts to manage batch processing and job scheduling
  • 5+ years of designing, developing, and maintaining DB2 databases to support application data needs
  • 5+ years of writing and maintaining CICS transaction programs to provide online access to mainframe applications
