The Renewal Roots Center is seeking a dedicated and empathetic Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our remote team. This position is fully remote, allowing for the convenience of a home office while remaining connected to a vibrant team dedicated to client care. Our counselors engage with clients via secure telehealth platforms, where they conduct meaningful sessions that can be scheduled based on each client's individual needs. Although the work is performed remotely, you will be supported by a collaborative environment that emphasizes teamwork and open communication among staff.

• Perform initial assessments and thorough evaluations to identify clients’ needs, establishing appropriate treatment plans that guide their therapeutic journey.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy.
• Facilitate sessions for individuals, couples, families, and groups, adapting your approach according to the diverse makeup and specific needs of your clients.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals including psychiatrists, social workers, and psychologists to deliver holistic care tailored to the client’s circumstances.
• Maintain detailed and accurate clinical records through electronic medical record (EMR) systems, adhering to ethical standards and legal regulations in mental health practice.
• Continuously enhance your skills and knowledge by participating in ongoing training, workshops, and staying informed of current mental health research developments.

The primary focus of your work as a Licensed Professional Counselor will be assisting a diverse clientele within our community health clinic. Our clients include individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse issues, and relationship difficulties. Many clients may come from underserved populations, emphasizing the need for culturally competent and compassionate care. In your role, you will play an integral part in helping clients navigate their emotional landscapes and develop strategies for lasting change.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• An active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Colorado.
• A minimum of 2 years of practical experience providing counseling services in a clinical setting.
• In-depth understanding of ethical guidelines and legal regulations governing the practice of counseling.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients from a variety of backgrounds.
• Proficient in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems and equipped with the technology necessary for remote counseling.

• Specialization in areas such as trauma recovery, family therapy, couples counseling, or substance use treatment is highly desirable.
• Experience working in a community health clinic or similar environment that emphasizes patient-centered care.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a team of healthcare professionals.

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, dependent on your caseload and experience.
