Key Responsibilities

• Create individualized treatment plans for clients by conducting thorough initial assessments and ongoing evaluations.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions for individuals, couples, families, and groups, employing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Short-Term Therapy.
• Integrate and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure a holistic approach to client care.
• Maintain detailed and accurate clinical records, adhering to legal and ethical standards, to enhance the quality of care and track clients' progress.
• Participate in professional development activities to stay updated on mental health trends, practices, and research.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clients come from diverse backgrounds, and you will support individuals facing a range of emotional challenges including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and substance abuse. You will provide crucial support to those experiencing short-term difficulties and assist them in developing coping strategies that empower their journey towards stability and growth.

Qualifications

• A Master's Degree in Professional Counseling or a closely related field is required.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia.
• Demonstrated knowledge of assessment and diagnostic techniques, as well as individual and group therapy methodologies.
• A minimum of one year of experience working with psychiatric patients or substance abuse populations is essential.
• Proficiency in using computers and basic keyboarding skills are necessary for documentation and client management.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience with telehealth platforms and services is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of various therapeutic modalities and a willingness to continually expand your therapeutic skill set through education and training.
• Experience in a multidisciplinary collaborative setting is beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 75,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
