Great Escape Psychotherapy Center is searching for a dedicated and empathetic Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our dynamic team. This position is primarily remote, offering flexibility for work-life balance while engaging with clients in outpatient therapy sessions. • Conduct thorough evaluations of clients to assess their psychological needs and develop tailored treatment plans in collaboration with the client.
• Provide individual therapy sessions for clients, utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness approaches, and person-centered therapy.
• Facilitate family and couples counseling sessions, focusing on improving communication and resolving conflict.
• Record and maintain detailed documentation of client progress, session notes, and treatment plans in compliance with ethical standards and organizational policies.
• Work closely with interdisciplinary teams, including psychologists, psychiatrists, and social workers, to ensure holistic care for clients.
• Adhere to all confidentiality protocols, maintaining the trust and safety of clients at all times.

The LPC will engage with a diverse client population, including children, adolescents, and adults, presenting a broad spectrum of mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, and relationship issues. The emphasis on a personalized approach ensures that each client receives the targeted support necessary for their unique situation.

• A master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Colorado.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional counseling experience, preferably in outpatient settings.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, essential for effective client interaction and documentation.
• Proficiency in using telehealth platforms and a keen understanding of remote therapeutic practices.

• Experience in a community mental health setting is advantageous.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care and evidence-based practices is preferred.
• Additional certifications in specialized therapeutic techniques are a plus.
