This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility and convenience while maintaining a strong connection with our clients via telehealth platforms. Our telehealth facility utilizes state-of-the-art technology to ensure that clients receive the best care possible, regardless of their geographical location. As a remote counselor, you will have access to our digital tools and electronic health record (EHR) systems, enabling efficient documentation and management of client progress.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ mental health status through virtual sessions to develop tailored treatment plans.
• Facilitate regular therapy sessions, utilizing a range of therapeutic modalities to address individual client needs.
• Provide psychoeducation and therapeutic tools to empower clients to manage their mental health effectively.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and primary care providers, to ensure holistic care for clients.
• Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions and treatment progress in our EHR system, ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards.
• Implement crisis intervention techniques when necessary, demonstrating strong analytical skills to stabilize clients in acute distress.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Centuria Behavioral Health Center, you will work with a diverse clientele facing a variety of mental health challenges, including depression, anxiety, substance abuse, and eating disorders. Your role is critical in providing culturally sensitive, individualized care to clients from various backgrounds, helping to break down barriers to mental health support and fostering inclusive treatment approaches.

• A master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A current, valid license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Colorado.
• A minimum of four years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, preferably with a variety of patient demographics and conditions.
• In-depth understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment practices, alongside cultural competence in therapy.
• Experience in providing both individual and group therapy, employing culturally responsive strategies.
• Strong crisis intervention skills, with the ability to remain composed during challenging situations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to establish rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Experience working in a telehealth environment, proficient in virtual communication and engagement techniques.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant software applications to enhance workflow efficiency.
• Past roles involving collaboration within multidisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care.
