This position is fully remote, providing you with the flexibility to work from the comfort of your home in Fontana, California, or anywhere within your licensed state. Our online platform facilitates seamless communication through secure video conferencing, ensuring you can engage with clients effectively while minimizing administrative hassles. We handle all the logistics like paperwork and billing, allowing you to focus primarily on client care.

• Conduct individual therapy sessions via secure video chat, allowing you to connect with clients effectively and empathetically.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for clients facing a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, grief, and stress.
• Provide ongoing support and education to clients, guiding them in developing practical strategies to enhance their coping mechanisms and decision-making skills.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with regulatory standards.

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Inner Peace Psychotherapy, you will primarily work with a diverse clientele comprising stable adults experiencing low-acuity mental health issues. Our clients are pre-screened, which enables you to focus on providing high-quality therapeutic care without the additional burden of high-stress cases that demand immediate crisis intervention.

• A master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling is required.
• Possession of an independent license, which may include Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Exceptional computer literacy skills to navigate our telehealth platform and documentation systems efficiently.

While specific experience in telehealth is desired, it's not mandatory. However, candidates with a proven track record of making professional evaluations and planning treatment strategies will excel in this role. Additionally, strong interpersonal skills and a sympathetic nature are essential for building rapport with clients and fostering a supportive therapeutic alliance.
