Job Title: Logistics Tracker / Shipment Coordinator

Position Overview:
We are a flooring distribution company seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Tracker to monitor and manage daily shipments. This role is critical in ensuring timely deliveries, clear communication with carriers and customers, and accurate tracking of all outbound freight.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Track daily shipments sent via LTL and Ground carriers

  • Proactively monitor delivery status and identify potential delays

  • Communicate directly with carriers such as Saia, Central Transport, and Roadrunner

  • Update internal systems with accurate tracking notes and status updates

  • Investigate and document reasons for delays or service disruptions

  • Coordinate shipment redirection or reconsignment when necessary

  • Confirm shipping addresses and delivery details with customers

  • Provide clear instructions and follow-up when shipments are refused

  • Work closely with customer service, sales, and warehouse teams to resolve issues quickly

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in logistics, transportation, or distribution preferred

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
