Role Overview

DATAmundiis seeking aLocalization Live Sports Producerto support a leading global technology client in delivering multilingual live sports and digital content to global audiences.

The client produces extensive and multilingual live sports content and real-time offerings including exclusive, high-production coverage of major sports events.

In the world of live sports, every second matters - and every word shapes the fan experience.

You will play a pivotal role in delivering real-time, culturally resonant sports content to global audiences. This role ensures that fans around the world experience the thrill, emotion, and immediacy of live sports in their own language - without delay and without compromise on quality.

By orchestrating multilingual workflows across live broadcasts and digital platforms, you will directly contribute to audience engagement, brand credibility, and the client's global growth strategy. You are not just managing localization - you are enabling real-time multilingual impact at scale.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end multilingual localization for live sports broadcasts and digital content, ensuring real-time or near-live delivery across markets.
  • Manage simultaneous multi-language workflows under tight broadcast deadlines, proactively mitigating risks and dependencies.
  • Confirm operational readiness before assigned events, including access, staffing, schedules, workflows and known dependencies.
  • Monitor localization workflows throughout live events and respond promptly to issues, changes and production needs.
  • Coordinate vendors, reviewers, QA, editorial, and live production teams to ensure seamless execution during live cycles.
  • Communicatedeliverystatusand anyrisks clearly to enable confident production decisions.
  • Maintain seamless communication with cross-functional producers, video production managers and technical teams to support rapid issue resolution.
  • Ensure linguistic accuracy, cultural relevance, and adherence to brand voice, style guides, and sports terminology standards.
  • Follow client-specific tools, workflows, approval processes, escalation procedures and data-handling requirements.
  • Flexibility to support live sports event schedules, including evenings, weekends and other non-standard production hours as required.

Required Qualifications

  • 3 +years of experience in localization project management or multilingual content production.
  • Proven experiencerunning time-sensitive localization for digital, media, or live content.
  • Strong operational coordination skills, including content management, system management and scheduling across multiple simultaneous workflows.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure environments with shifting priorities during live production cycles.
  • Demonstrated experience managing and executing structured handoff processes between teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless continuity during live or high-priority production cycles.
  • Solid grounding inlocalization processes,qualityandterminology management.
  • Ability to work accurately within client-specific systems, CMS platforms, approval processes and documented procedures.
  • Discretion with confidential information and strict data-handling standards.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to ramp up quickly in complex localization environments andoperate seamlessly within client internal tools and workflows.
  • Comfortable working in a macOS-based environment and able to quickly learn client-specific tools, systems and workflows.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in live sports, broadcast, or streaming localizationworkflows.
  • Background in digital media production or live events.
  • Proficiency in one additional language beyond English.
  • Familiarity with Unicode, CLDR, or other internationalization standards.
