Job description

Event Onsite Support Technician

We're looking for a talented Events Ops Technician to provide support in owning world class event presentations beginning to end. You'll join a team whose mission is to provide joy through frictionless support that is globally consistent and solves problems in innovative and creative ways to have a big impact.

PLEASE NOTE:   This opportunity requires 100% Mac/Apple iOS support and requires five days a week on site at our client's headquarters.

  • Review client requests and provide technical direction for the planning, scheduling, and delivery of services

  • Operate PTZ cameras, video switchers, digital audio mixers, and Crestron routing systems for large and medium scale events

  • Manage streaming encoding and quality during live events, trim and deliver recorded events

  • Technical point person during board meetings and high-profile conference calls

  • Oversee vendor technicians on larger scale events

  • Train incoming vendor and Helpdesk technicians on events best practices

  • Contribute to documentation of on-site equipment and protocols

  • Troubleshoot equipment in event spaces

  • Help studio teams remotely in various locations globally with production, editing, or virtual recordings when needed

  • Support virtual events on various platforms (Google Meet, Zoom Webinar, RingCentral Events, and Streamyard)

Requirements include:

  • Experience owning an event end to end from event request to technical execution

  • Operational experience with event production equipment - audio mixers, microphones, video switchers, etc 

  • History of direct customer service

  • Versed in Apple OS, presentation software like Keynote, PPT

  • Well versed in using Google Meet and Google Slides for events

  • Some exposure to video conferencing, streaming
