Job Summary/Company:

Sparks Group has partnered with a growing mortgage company to find Loan Processors. As the Loan Processor you will be responsible for processing DSCR and investor loans from initial disclosure through closing in a fast paced, metric driven environment. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of loan processing experience and is a driven go-getter looking to join a fast-growing firm. If you're looking for you're next opportunity, apply now!


Responsibilities:
  • Manage the full lifecycle of DSCR and investor mortgage loans, from initial disclosure through final closing, while maintaining accurate records in the LOS and lender portals.
  • Review, verify, and organize all borrower and property documentation to ensure files are audit-ready and compliant with investor guidelines and regulatory standards.
  • Calculate and validate key metrics, including DSCR, rental income, and cash-flow inputs, to ensure accuracy and alignment with specific lender requirements.
  • Proactively manage underwriting conditions and milestones by collaborating with loan officers, underwriters, and third-party vendors to resolve issues and expedite the clear-to-close.

Qualifications/Background Profile:
  • 2+ years of mortgage loan processing experience
  • Strong understanding of mortgage documentation, underwriting conditions, and closing requirements
  • Experience working in a high-volume loan processing environment
  • Demonstrated proficiency with wholesale broker portals
  • Comfort with investor documentation, rental income, and cash-flow analysis
  • Experience with DSCR or non-QM lending is a plus
