We're seeking an experienced Loan Processor to support our specialized divorce-focused lending practice. This full-time position is designed for a seasoned mortgage professional who thrives working independently on complex files.
Your work directly impacts clients navigating one of life's most challenging transitions. You'll be part of a specialized practice where attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality are paramount. Responsibilities
• Competently calculate income
• Collect and verify necessary financial documentation, such as credit reports, to complete mortgage loan applications and determine creditworthiness
• Act as a liaison between applicants, mortgage brokers, loan officers, real estate agents, and mortgage lending underwriters to help further loan approval
• Ensure loan files meet lending and regulatory guidelines and policies
• Assist in preparing divorce mortgage planning reports
Qualifications
• Preference will be given to applicants who reside in Montana, Washington, or Oregon. Please indicate your state of residence when completing the application questions to be considered.
• Must be able to competently calculate income
• Mortgage lending experience and loan knowledge required, specifically with Conventional, FHA, and VA loans
• Minimum of 2+ years of loan processing experience required
• Divorce, mortgage lending experience is preferred
• Must possess exceptional attention to detail, as well as strong analytical and time management skills
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must be proficient with MS Office (especially Excel); experience with Jungo and Arive mortgage software is a plus
• NMLS license or training is not required, but is desired
