This is a remote position. Overview of the Role: We are looking for a diligent and detail-oriented Loan Processor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the loan application process from start to finish. This includes gathering and reviewing application information, ensuring all documentation is complete, and facilitating communication between applicants, underwriters, and other team members. Your role is critical in ensuring that loan applications are processed efficiently and accurately, contributing to a smooth and successful lending process.

Responsibilities of the Role:

  • Application Intake: Serve as the primary point of contact for loan applicants. Guide applicants through the loan application process, ensuring they understand the required documentation and procedures. Collect and review all necessary documents from applicants, including income verification, credit reports, and identification. Enter and update applicant information in the loan processing system accurately and promptly.
  • Documentation and Verification: Verify the accuracy and completeness of application information and supporting documents. Coordinate with applicants to resolve any discrepancies or obtain additional information as needed. Ensure all required documents are included in the loan file and meet company and regulatory standards.
  • Communication and Coordination: Maintain open lines of communication with applicants, underwriters, and other team members throughout the loan process.
