Work Environment

In this remote role, you will enjoy the flexibility of working from home while remaining an integral part of our multidisciplinary team. Despite the remote setting, we foster strong connections within our staff through regular virtual team meetings, case conferences, and professional development sessions. This role accommodates a standard work schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility to meet our patients' needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations that consider the unique cultural and personal backgrounds of patients to develop tailored treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques through individual, family, and group therapy sessions, providing support for issues ranging from anxiety and depression to trauma and relationship challenges.
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care for patients, ensuring a holistic approach to mental health.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention support during mental health emergencies, applying de-escalation techniques to stabilize patients in distress.
• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources, promoting empowerment and informed decision-making.
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of all patient interactions, adhering to legal and ethical standards in practice.
• Engage in ongoing professional development by attending training sessions focused on cultural competency and current best practices in mental health care.
• Actively participate in team meetings and contribute to case discussions to enhance overall service delivery.

Qualifications

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC/MHSP, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Tennessee.
• A deep understanding of various mental health disorders, along with evidence-based methodologies to treat them effectively.
• Demonstrated capacity to deliver culturally responsive therapy, adapting approaches to meet the diverse needs of patients.
• Strong crisis intervention skills, with the ability to remain composed and effective in high-pressure situations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling successful engagement with a wide range of individuals.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems to manage patient information efficiently.
• A commitment to ethical practice, professional boundaries, and the confidentiality of patient information.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in outpatient mental health settings is highly preferred, particularly in roles that involve working with culturally diverse populations.
• Prior involvement in interdisciplinary teams focused on comprehensive patient care.
• Engagement in community outreach programs or initiatives aimed at enhancing mental health awareness among underserved communities.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
