Your daily responsibilities as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments and collaborating on treatment planning, encompassing crisis intervention strategies, behavioral guidelines, risk assessment protocols, and medication management plans.
• Timely completion of essential documentation that meets regulatory standards to ensure compliance and quality care.
• Employing evidence-based screening tools in conjunction with our clinical team to enhance diagnostic accuracy and treatment efficacy.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective positive behavior support plans tailored to individual client needs.
• Participating in licensing and accreditation processes, demonstrating a commitment to maintaining high ethical and professional standards.
• Acting as a liaison for clients, connecting them with state agencies, community partners, and relevant service systems as necessary.
• Fostering open communication within the organization to promote alignment with the Mental Health Association's mission and enhance community visibility.
• Building and sustaining relationships with local agencies and organizations to drive program visibility, create new partnerships, and identify funding opportunities.
• Engaging in professional development opportunities, including attending workshops, conferences, and participation in task forces relevant to mental health advocacy.
• Enforcing and integrating the agency's mission, values, and principles into all aspects of work.
• Assuming additional responsibilities as directed by the Clinic Director to support overall organizational goals.

The clients you will serve encompass a diverse range of backgrounds and experiences, including individuals navigating emotional challenges, substance use issues, and various disabilities. Your work will be pivotal in providing them access to critical therapeutic interventions while fostering a supportive environment that respects their unique journeys towards recovery and well-being.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's Degree in a mental health-related field is mandatory.
• An independent LMHC license is required to practice.
• Proficiency in behavioral health practices and crisis intervention strategies.
• Strong documentation skills and ability to comply with regulatory standards.

While not required, the following experiences are preferred:

• Previous experience in outpatient mental health settings.

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 120,000 to 140,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to salary, we provide:
