This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position following the school district's calendar. Immediate start dates are based on available placement opportunities upon completion of the application process.
As a Fullmind Physical Therapist, you will:
  • Promote creativity and excitement in the virtual learning environment
  • Create strategies to engage and nurture student learning and student relationships
  • Evaluate levels of gross motor function, mobility, strength, balance, and functional skills
  • Develop and execute treatment plans that address specific student needs
  • Document sessions and record data on progress towards IEP goals
  • Meet with personnel at the school or district to transmit information about student progress

Requirements
  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from a CAPTE-accredited program (Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education)
  • Active NY State PT license
  • Successful completion of the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE)
  • Reliable, HIPAA-compliant teletherapy platform experience; strong tech setup (webcam, headset, stable internet, private workspace).
  • Comfort collaborating remotely with classroom teachers, case managers, and families
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
