Remote Live Stream Operator information

What is a remote live stream operator?

A Remote Live Stream Operator is a professional responsible for managing and overseeing live video broadcasts from a remote location. They handle the technical aspects of streaming, such as switching camera feeds, adjusting audio levels, troubleshooting connectivity issues, and ensuring the broadcast runs smoothly. These operators often work with event organizers, content creators, or companies to deliver high-quality live streams for webinars, conferences, concerts, or other live events. Proficiency with streaming software, audiovisual equipment, and real-time problem-solving are important skills for this role.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a remote live stream operator?

To thrive as a Remote Live Stream Operator, you need a solid understanding of audio-visual technology, live streaming platforms, and event production processes, often supported by experience or relevant technical training. Familiarity with streaming software (like OBS or vMix), video encoders, and troubleshooting connectivity issues is typically required. Strong communication, multitasking, and quick problem-solving skills help operators manage live events smoothly and adapt to unexpected challenges. These skills ensure seamless, professional broadcasts that meet client expectations and resolve issues in real time.

What are the most common challenges faced by remote live stream operators, and how can they be effectively managed?

Remote Live Stream Operators often encounter challenges such as unstable internet connections, technical glitches with streaming software or hardware, and coordinating with remote teams in different time zones. Proactively testing all equipment before an event, having backup internet solutions, and maintaining clear communication channels with team members can help minimize disruptions. Developing strong troubleshooting skills and staying updated on streaming technology best practices are essential for delivering smooth, professional broadcasts.

About Ten Adams

Healthcare brands have the power to change lives-and we're here to help them do exactly that. At Ten Adams, we're an independent healthcare brand performance agency where strategic thinking, creativity and insights come together to drive measurable results for hospitals and health systems, multi-location health and wellness providers, and B2B healthcare tech.

Join our team of driven, curious, authentic professionals who take ownership, grow personally and professionally, and commit to driving health forward. At Ten Adams, bold ideas aren't just welcomed; they're expected. Together, we're helping healthcare brands grow stronger, businesses hit targets and communities live healthier, one meaningful connection at a time.

The Role

As Paid Media Director at Ten Adams, you'll lead paid media planning, execution and optimization across our healthcare client engagements. • Lead the full media plan lifecycle - negotiation, execution, optimization and reconciliation - across traditional, paid search, paid social, programmatic, CTV/OTT, streaming, native and emerging channels.
    • Partner with Analytics and the VP Performance on measurement - experimentation, testing and the metrics that prove media is working.
    • Feed the Brand Performance Audit with channel-level inputs: how each channel is performing, where spend is hitting saturation or diminishing returns, and where efficiency is starting to slip.
    • Bring AI and automation into the media workflow responsibly and keep us current on emerging platforms and ad-tech relevant to performance-driven media.

    Collaboration & Strategic Integration (20%)

      • Serve as the senior paid media voice across Performance, Creative, Product and Client Experience teams to align channel decisions with brand and business objectives.

        • Define operating cadence, workflows and quality standards.
        • Manage vendor partnerships, ad platform relationships and media tool contracts.
        • Oversee media budget management, billing reconciliation and monthly revenue/commission reporting in partnership with Leadership and Finance.
