Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual counseling sessions via video chat, fostering a safe environment for clients to discuss their mental health challenges.
• Guide clients in exploring their emotions and experiences, ultimately aiding them in gaining self-awareness and insights into their interpersonal relationships.
• Serve as an advocate for clients, assisting them in establishing realistic goals for their mental health journey.
• Assess clients' psychological condition, and design and execute tailored treatment plans utilizing a strengths-based, solution-focused approach informed by your clinical expertise.
• Utilize a user-friendly therapy platform that serves as your virtual office for live sessions and asynchronous communication, significantly simplifying your workflow.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your caseload will consist exclusively of carefully screened clients who are stable adults with low acuity. By ensuring that all clients are pre-assessed before booking, our approach minimizes the complexities often associated with severe mental health cases. You will also be matched with clients whose backgrounds and specific needs align with your specialties, ensuring a fulfilling counseling experience for both you and your clients.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Full licensure as a Mental Health Counselor by the state board, with active standings, to practice independently without supervision—acceptable licenses include LMFT, LPC, or LCSW.
• Strong interpersonal skills and an empathetic disposition conducive to supporting clients through therapeutic processes.
• Proficiency in technology and computer literacy to effectively engage with our therapy platform.

Preferred Experience

We prioritize candidates with a minimum of two years of relevant experience in mental health counseling. Previous experience in a remote counseling setting is advantageous but not essential, as we provide robust onboarding support to familiarize you with our systems and clients.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive salary range from USD 90,000 to 104,000 per year, commensurate with experience and working hours.
