Key Responsibilities

• Conduct therapy sessions with clients utilizing video chat technology, promoting an environment conducive to open conversations.
• Encourage clients to articulate their emotions and personal experiences, guiding them through various therapeutic techniques.
• Collaborate with clients to establish meaningful, achievable therapeutic goals tailored to individual needs.
• Monitor and assess client progress regularly, adapting treatment plans as necessary to ensure successful outcomes.
• Educate clients on healthy coping mechanisms and strategies for managing challenging emotional or behavioral patterns.
• Maintain detailed, accurate records of each client interaction while adhering to confidentiality and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.
• Must possess an active, unrestricted license to practice independently as one of the following: LMFT, LPC, or LCSW. Note that provisional licenses will not be accepted.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to facilitate meaningful interaction with clients.
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills, empathy, and sensitivity to the diverse backgrounds of clients.
• Proficiency with technology and online therapy platforms to manage electronic communications and client records effectively.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in a telehealth or remote mental health therapy setting is highly valued.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and solution-focused therapy.
• A background in working with diverse populations and understanding of unique cultural and socioeconomic challenges.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually, depending on hours worked.
• Weekly direct deposit for timely compensation.
• Full-time counselors are eligible for a monthly healthcare stipend to support their health and wellness.
