Work Environment

This full-time position is fully remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home and manage your schedule flexibly. By utilizing modern teletherapy technology, you will conduct sessions through video chat, which enables you to connect meaningfully with clients without the constraints of a traditional office setting. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual counseling sessions with clients through video chat, tailoring your approach to meet their unique needs.
• Guide clients in discussing their emotions and experiences, facilitating their self-discovery and growth.
• Assess client's mental health status, developing and implementing personalized treatment plans using evidence-based practices.
• Advocate for clients by assisting them in setting realistic and attainable goals related to their mental health.
• Utilize a therapy platform that acts as your online office, enabling live session delivery and secure message exchanges.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The clients you serve at Inspire and Empower Counseling Center are pre-screened stable adults with low acuity needs. You will have the opportunity to work with individuals who are generally functioning well, allowing you to focus on improvement and self-growth rather than crisis intervention. Additionally, we ensure to match you with clients who align with your specific areas of expertise and demographic preferences.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Active and unencumbered licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in your practicing state.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a sympathetic nature, capable of building rapport with clients.
• Proficiency in utilizing technology for remote counseling, including video conferencing tools and electronic health record systems.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of experience in mental health counseling is required, preference will be given to candidates with additional experience in remote therapy practices or specialized areas of mental health. Having a history of working with diverse populations and various mental health conditions is advantageous.

• Competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 104,000, commensurate with experience and hours worked.
