• Provide individualized counseling sessions via video chat, focusing on enhancing clients' mental wellness and life satisfaction.
• Foster a supportive environment by encouraging clients to share their emotions and experiences, facilitating insight into personal challenges and relationships.
• Act as an advocate for clients, helping them to define clear therapeutic goals and navigating steps to achieve these objectives.
• Assess clients' mental health conditions comprehensively, developing tailored treatment plans that utilize evidence-based, solution-focused methodologies.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of therapy sessions to track client progress and treatment adjustments.

The clients you will work with at Omni Family Mental and Wellness Center are stability-focused adults with low-acuity mental health needs. Each client is carefully screened before receiving services, ensuring that you work with individuals who are ready for growth and effective therapeutic strategies. • A completed Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.
• Must possess a full, unencumbered license to practice independently in Illinois, including but not limited to:
  • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
  • Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC)
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
• Strong interpersonal skills, a sympathetic nature, and the ability to connect with clients empathetically are essential qualities for this role.

While specific therapeutic backgrounds are encouraged, candidates with a broad range of experience in mental health counseling are welcome. Experience with teletherapy and familiarity with digital communication tools can enhance your ability to succeed in this remote environment.
