This role is completely remote, allowing for a custom schedule that suits your personal and professional needs. As an outpatient facility, our virtual environment fosters collaboration, utilizing modern telecommunication technologies to connect counselors with clients. In your role as a Mental Health Counselor, you will:

• Conduct ethical and compassionate counseling sessions via secure video chat, ensuring a comfortable environment for your clients.
• Employ solution-focused therapy techniques tailored to individual client needs, promoting effective coping strategies.
• Create and implement personalized treatment plans that address specific mental health issues while monitoring client progress and adjusting approaches as needed.
• Encourage clients to gain insights into their emotions and behaviors, fostering increased self-awareness and healthier relationships.
• Collaborate with colleagues and utilize expert support to refine treatment methodologies and enhance client outcomes.

Your primary focus will be on stable, low acuity adults who present with various mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, stress management, and relationship issues. Your expertise will enable individuals to develop essential skills for improving their overall quality of life by offering guidance and support tailored to their unique situations.

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s degree in a counseling-related discipline, such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• A current state-issued mental health counseling license, allowing for independent practice. Candidates should clearly state their licensure and credentials in their application.
• No limited or provisional licenses and no history of disciplinary actions.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping clients.
• Strong proficiency in using technology, with a reliable computer equipped with webcam and audio capabilities for virtual sessions.
• A stable internet connection to facilitate seamless communication with clients.

While not mandatory, applicants with prior experience in providing telehealth services, working with diverse populations, or specializing in specific mental health themes will be highly regarded. Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarity with evidence-based treatment approaches is also a plus.
