Firm Hope Youth and Family Health Services is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team in a full-time remote capacity. This position is fully remote, allowing for greater flexibility while still maintaining strong connections with both patients and team members through virtual platforms. Team collaboration is critical; thus, regular virtual meetings and consultation sessions are encouraged to facilitate open communication and shared goals.

• Conduct comprehensive intakes and assessments through digital platforms to understand the mental health needs of clients and establish tailored treatment plans.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methodologies to provide individual counseling sessions, working actively with patients to address immediate crises as well as long-term mental health goals.
• Facilitate virtual therapy groups and workshops designed to enhance coping strategies, resilience, and peer support on relevant subjects like anxiety, depression, and family dynamics.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including medical professionals, community liaisons, and support staff to ensure holistic and effective patient care.
• Engage in outreach programs, contributing to community mental health awareness campaigns and wellness initiatives to reduce stigma and promote well-being.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential patient records in accordance with ethical and regulatory standards, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other regulations.

Our ideal candidate will work primarily with children, adolescents, and families facing various social, emotional, and behavioral challenges. Understanding the intricacies of mental health issues within these demographics is essential for successful interventions and support. Our therapists are committed to respecting cultural backgrounds and individual experiences, fostering trust and rapport to enhance therapeutic outcomes.

• Active and valid state license as an LCSW, LCSW-R, LMFT, LMHC, or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field is required; a Master’s or Doctoral degree is preferred.
• Proven understanding of mental health challenges prevalent among youth and families, particularly within the outpatient setting.
• Exceptional communication skills, demonstrating the ability to effectively engage with a diverse clientele and collaborative healthcare teams.
• Familiarity with brief therapy models and evidence-based practices relevant to mental health counseling.
• Ability to adapt quickly to a dynamic work environment, manage a varied caseload, and prioritize responsibilities effectively.

• Experience working in an outpatient or hospital counseling setting.
• Previous involvement in community outreach and public speaking on mental health topics.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and teletherapy best practices.

• Annual salary between USD 115,000 to 130,000, commensurate with experience and education.
