Job Description
The Student Teacher Field Supervisor reports to the Program Director or Chair of the program, and Dean of the Carter & Moyers School of Education. This person will work closely with students and designated faculty and assist with the supervision of field-based and clinical activities for Student Teachers in local area schools
Required Qualifications
A minimum of a masters degree in education. Relevant experience and appropriate credentials/licensure and/or demonstrated competence in teaching; good professional standing
Preferred Qualifications
Doctoral Degree in Education from an accredited institution of higher education
Physical Demands
Prior experience supervising, mentoring, coaching, or evaluating teachers or teacher candidates in K-12 school settings. Administrative experience and/or evaluative experience using the Tennessee Educator Acceleration Model (TEAM).
