What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Remote Level Designer, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Remote Level Designer, you need a deep understanding of game design principles, spatial reasoning, and proficiency with level editing tools, often supported by a portfolio of completed projects. Familiarity with engines like Unity or Unreal Engine and version control systems such as Git is typically required. Strong communication, collaboration, and self-motivation are crucial soft skills for remote work and creative iteration with distributed teams. These skills and qualities are essential to create engaging, functional game environments and to ensure smooth teamwork despite physical distance.

How do Remote Level Designers typically collaborate with other team members given the virtual work environment?

Remote Level Designers frequently work with artists, programmers, and game designers through a combination of virtual meetings, project management tools, and shared digital assets. Effective communication is key, and teams often rely on platforms like Slack, Zoom, and version control systems such as Perforce or Git to coordinate updates and feedback. Regular check-ins and collaborative playtesting sessions help ensure alignment on design goals and maintain productivity despite the distance. Adapting to different time zones and being proactive about sharing progress are common challenges, but most studios provide structured workflows to support remote teamwork.

Job description

We’re growing fast — and our pipeline is heavily driven by manufacturing and supply chain transformations.

We’re looking for a senior, industry-savvy consultant who understands how manufacturing businesses actually run — from production planning to inventory flows — and can translate that into scalable ERP solutions.

You don’t need to know NetSuite. We’ll train you.

What we care about is your ability to think in systems, optimize operations, and lead complex ERP initiatives with confidence.

What You'll Do
  • Partner directly with clients (often at the leadership level) to understand manufacturing, supply chain, and operational processes
  • Translate real-world operations into ERP-driven solutions and system designs
  • Lead full-cycle ERP implementations — from discovery to delivery
  • Challenge and evolve client processes using industry best practices
  • Drive workshops, design sessions, and solution architecture discussions
  • Oversee solution delivery, ensuring alignment between business needs and system capabilities
  • Collaborate with technical teams to bring solutions to life
  • Lead testing, UAT, and go-live activities
  • Build strong client relationships and identify growth opportunities
What We’re Looking For
  • 5+ years experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or operations-heavy environments
  • Strong exposure to ERP systems (any: SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, etc.)
  • Proven experience in ERP implementations or business system transformations
  • Deep understanding of:
    • MRP / production planning
    • Inventory & warehouse flows
    • Procurement & order management
  • Ability to connect business processes → system logic
  • Confident communicator with experience working with stakeholders across the business
  • Bilingual: French & English
Big Plus (But Not Required)
  • Experience in consulting or client-facing roles
  • Exposure to multiple ERP systems
  • Background in process optimization / continuous improvement
Why Join Us
  • We’ll invest in your NetSuite training & certification
  • 35h work week
  • Flexible remote work + work from anywhere (up to 90 days/year)
  • Group insurance + telemedicine + EAP
  • RRSP contribution
  • Unlimited sick days & PTO
  • Annual retreat + quarterly events
  • Fast-growing firm with high deal flow and real impact opportunities
