Attorney – Business and Real Estate Transactional

SSP Law Co. LPA is seeking an attorney to join our growing business and real estate transactional practice area.

This is a remote position for a candidate located in the Columbus area.

For more than 25 years, attorneys at SSP have anticipated the needs of our clients and taken bold, strategic action on their behalf. We have earned a reputation of being business-savvy, pragmatic attorneys of integrity and aggressive advocates when our clients' interests are on the line. At SSP, we take pride in the legal services we provide and the products we produce for our clients.

Candidates must have strong academic credentials and communication skills, a commitment to delivering quality legal work for the firm's clients and be committed to growing their practice. Candidates should have excellent analytical, writing, and legal research skills, strong attention to detail and work with a sense of urgency. The successful candidate must exhibit a "client first" approach to the practice of law.

Preferred experience or knowledge in Business & Real Estate Transactional including:

  • Business and entity formation, selection, and structure
  • Contract drafting, review and negotiation
  • Drafting of corporate documents for complex business transactions
  • Buying/Selling a Business
  • Real Estate Acquisitions, Dispositions, Leasing and Title
  • Partnerships and Mergers & Acquisitions
  • Real Estate Title and Closing Experience
  • Commercial Finance including Borrower and /or Lender Representation
  • Licensed to practice in Ohio
  • Juris Doctorate degree required
  • 2- 3 years of experience preferred
