• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients' mood disorder symptoms, including their intensity, frequency, and duration to determine appropriate therapeutic interventions.
• Collaborate with clients to create personalized and actionable treatment plans, integrating their unique goals, preferences, and circumstances.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to promote effective client outcomes.
• Provide education and support to clients and families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care practices to foster empowerment.
• Monitor client progress effectively, documenting changes and adapting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal therapeutic outcomes.
• Engage in collaborative care by communicating with psychiatrists and other health professionals to enhance integrated treatment strategies.
• Stay current on research and advancements in the mental health field to refine treatment methods and improve patient care.
• Maintain confidential and thorough documentation following legal and ethical standards, thus supporting overall service integrity.
• Participate in clinical team meetings, case consultations, and opportunities for professional development to foster a culture of shared learning.
• Actively advocate for clients’ mental health needs, working to dismantle stigma and promote understanding within the community.

You will primarily interact with individuals and families facing challenges related to mood disorders, relationship issues, and transitions such as divorce. Your role will involve tailoring therapeutic approaches to suit diverse backgrounds, ensuring that all clients feel understood and valued in their recovery journey.

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is essential for this role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are needed to establish rapport and cultivate a therapeutic alliance with clients.
• Demonstrated empathy and a nonjudgmental attitude are critical in fostering a safe environment for clients to share their struggles.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively handle a diverse caseload while ensuring all administrative responsibilities are met.

• Experience in specialized therapies such as structural family therapy, strategic therapy, and narrative therapy is a plus.
• Prior work experience with clients facing divorce or relationship issues is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with telehealth systems and digital documentation may be beneficial for managing remote session logistics.

• Salary commensurate with experience, ranging from USD 90,000 to 104,000 annually, reflecting your qualifications and expertise.
